A little about me...

I am a long-time resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana. My husband, Jason, and I have been married for over twenty years and have two teenage sons. My career in the helping profession began in 1998 when I began working as a teacher for the Louisiana Public School System. I soon realized a passion that went beyond academics and decided to become a professional school counselor. Over my twelve years as a teacher and ten as a professional school counselor, I gained valuable experience working with young people, parents, and teachers. In 2019, I retired from the school system to serve the public in a new way. Since then, I’ve worked for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux as a professional school counselor and independent contractor for South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority. In 2020, I began seeing clients privately on a part-time basis. I am licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Opening my own private practice has been an exciting and rewarding journey. I strive to meet my clients where they are on their path to wellness.
